I’ve integrated with a few payment gateways. Here’s my honest take. Stripe Use it if you care about developer experience and speed. The APIs are clean, the docs are thorough, and things just work. Webhook tooling, idempotency keys, the CLI, it’s easily the best DX in the space. Flaws: It’s limited local payment support outside global markets. If you’re building for Africa, you’ll hit a blocker fast. Nigeria isn’t even natively supported for Stripe accounts. Paystack Use it if you’re building for Africa. Cards, bank transfers, USSD, Pay with Bank, it handles local payment methods without friction, and webhooks are predictable in most cases. Flaws: Flexibility. Once you move beyond standard charge flows like multi-currency or split payments, it starts to feel constrained. Flutterwave Use it if you want reach across multiple African countries from day one. 30+ countries, mobile money, bank transfers, cards, USSD, the coverage is solid. Flaws: Consistency. Not just edge cases. Webhook reliability, API error messages, and test vs live differences can be really frustrating, those who have encountered this will really understand my stand point. So here’s what you need to know if you plan on integrating any of the three: PayStack for stability, Flutterwave for coverage, or the other way around depending on your market, Stripe comes in when you’re serving global users and need strong subscriptions or card-on-file flows. So bottom line here is, no gateway is perfect. It all comes down to the problem you’re solving.

There’s a roadmap change guys: So I had a proper draft of how we are to go about it and this is it. I’m very sure this would be very self sufficient. So for the 90-Day Backend Roadmap, the summary of everything to be covered is this (Relational DB + Auth + RBAC + Payments + Redis + Queues). But still, down below is the detailed path of how everything will be covered step by step across the phases. Before you continue looking through the whole roadmap ensure you share this so those people also get a hold of it.

A company spent nearly $250,000 on a firm that specializes in deep penetration testing and advanced offensive security to thoroughly assess the resilience of its systems. They also hired an independent white-hat hacker to attempt a real-world breach, bringing the total cost of security testing after the project to nearly half a million dollars. Now, several top-tier investors are at odds with the company’s decision-makers over this move. Do you think their frustration is justified, that the company overspent on security, or does it reflect a lack of understanding of how critical this level of testing can be?

So I only need 800 new followers to hit 10k? That being said, I would love to connect with more mutuals who speak, breathe, and eat tech. If this by any chance crosses your timeline, connect with me and state your tech stack and what you do

Imagine spending over 4 years in college studying Computer Science with strict focus on coding, just to see your learning process being actualised by an AI called Claude. Imagine spending years learning UI/UX just to wake up and see there’s an AI called Google Stitch doing it all. Imagine…… What other imagine can I even imagine again because it’s not coming through anymore? Help me out in the comment section 🤲🏿

AI is amazing, and getting into things like OpenClaw has opened my eyes to how much you can automate. But I’m starting to feel the downside too. At a certain point, it starts feeling like I’m outsourcing my own thinking. It’s both cool and scary.

This 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗘.𝗺𝗱 file will make you 10x engineer 👇 It combines all the best practices shared by Claude Code creator: Boris Cherny (creator of Claude Code at Anthropic) shared on X internal best practices and workflows he and his team actually use with Claude Code daily. Someone turned those threads into a structured 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗘.𝗺𝗱 you can drop into any project. It includes: • Workflow orchestration • Subagent strategy • Self-improvement loop • Verification before done • Autonomous bug fixing • Core principles This is a compounding system. Every correction you make gets captured as a rule. Over time, Claude's mistake rate drops because it learns from your feedback. If you build with AI daily, this will save you a lot of time.
