@OhioRacingMedia Many of the independents can’t afford to add them or get new cars built. Every mandate costs 💰 and there’s been many in the last few years

It’s crazy we’re going on year 14 since the canopy was introduced and it’s still just now being adapted by some teams. I figured it would’ve quickly been a mandate from NHRA.

@NitroChrisUK That event is put on by PRO. No NHRA. A lot of things happening behind the scenes for the sport this offseason so I think it was put on the back burner for now as it takes a lot of moving parts to put on a one race event like that. Just my guess though

Well some of my thoughts on the IHRA race so far Number 1 broadcast free professional looks like im watching a professional motorsport enough said already 2 From what ive been reading IHRA has treated these drivers is incredible the owner giving them free ice and checking 1/2
