The craziest thing since the Grapevine product TAL launched is that everyone has started reaching out to me asking how I got here, how I got hired, whether I dropped out, if I can refer them, or saying they want to contribute to TAL, etc. etc.. The thing is, none of these people showed up when I first started at Grapevine. But now that we’ve launched and things are going crazy, suddenly everyone loves it which is great, honestly but I guess that’s just how the world works. People notice you when your side project takes off. Until then, no one really checks in on you while you’re building.

T-69 of building TAL with a lot of caffeine (and a lot of errors). CAN’T BELIEVE WE ACTUALLY DID IT!!!! I still remember the initial days of working on this product and It’s crazy to think we’re almost at a point where this could actually change things for people. Working on @talbygrapevine has been really fun (I’m not kidding). I got to work with some amazing people and pull late nights together debugging issues, only to realize it was a super simple bug and burst out laughing. That’s the kind of chaos that makes building crazy!! It feels so good to build something that can actually help people find better job opportunities. And honestly, I’ll never forget @jainam_talsania for giving me a chance, betting on me, and trusting me when I had no past experience. All I had to offer was a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn :) This is for you @talbygrapevine 🦊🧡
