Planting Date is really starting to show! (Check out the picture below for 2/3 weeks of planting apart). As we approach July, the golden hue is becoming richer… when are we going to see the first combine hit the field? Love to see great yield potential… and look at the height!

Wheat tour forges on looking at some great crops… including a different crop in the cereal family! We made a bit of a detour this week to check out this rye in our pilot program and man is it looking good and tall!!

1st Stop on the @WansteadGrain wheat tour this year is HOME! Delayed planting has led to a delayed tour start, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t excited to check out the crop! Loving the yellow hue the crop is now sporting, as well as a superb clover catch!
