@MohamadAddouj @TheNRLSHADOW @CastTiger This club changes long term vision on a flip of a coin. Luai was the man until he committed to PNG once that was done the club saw that Latu and Javon might not be happy sitting another year in reserve grade just for a guy who isn't going to be here.

@NBWT__ The club's long term halves plan has changed every year this decade. We are gonna go into another year with a new halves pairing. I can't remember the last time we had the same starting spine two years in a row.

Only gripe with any of this is why Latu and Javon weren’t already the plan/why this hadn’t dawned on people earlier. Lack of foresight been the biggest issue with youth retention. Decision itself one of the better ones they’ve made. Previously club would watch the below unfold.

@NBWT__ Benji has to know this because the whole pre-season was how we needed to get fit. I do worry about what he will think the answer is. I hope he doesn't think he went to hard in pre-season and can see that this has been a long term issue.

@NBWT__ It's no coincidence that every new player that shows up is heralded as the fittest guy in the comp. Bunty was the best performer in pre-season, Bunty. Hurricane warnings should be going off if we see anything about how fit Shuster is.

@LeagueFreak I've done the calcs. If they keep the salary cap the same percentage as the tv deal the cap should go up to 17 million with it ending at 22 million by the end of it.

Now that the NRL Broadcasting deal is official, here is what I want to know.
1. When the 20th team comes in. It should be pretty soon. Too much money for it not to be.
2. The salary cap, and whether it goes up in one go, or if its scaled up.

Full credit to Tyrone McCarthy and how he has turned the Magpies around this year.
Last couple of months Wests are playing free and with some great confidence. Last 3 games they’ve scored 156 points but still shown a lot of resolve defensively, conceding 28 points combined.

Remember in a game v Penrith years ago and Tim Simona went off early, Jason Taylor shifted Kyle Lovett there. Jamie Soward sent the ball wide early to Dean Whare on every single chance and he made 4 line breaks. It’s seriously not fucking difficult, unless it’s us
