One criticism I have for the game is I think Miis fall in love waaaaay too early. It's happened at least 5 times already. I remember it being A LOT rarer on the DS game.

i don't get why you would want to speedrun tomodachi... it's a life sim. if anything i need the miis to move at a slower pace with their relationships cuz they move like uhaul lesbians in my island i swear

I understand the desire to have near absolute control over your entire island’s customization and residents, but the joy of Tomodachi Life is just… sitting back and watching what happens. Could be anything! Watch and see, cause it’ll be funny!

People who have never played tomodachi life before will come on here after playing it for 30 hours in 2 days and call it repetitive

idec about the tomodachi 2 pirating its just annoying how people spoil everything for the ones who are waiting for the actual release of the game and immediately calling it repititive

i also think its so weird that only latin american fans are complaining over it? like its the only thing i see, even though theres also a lot of UTDR fans in other countries?

also i just realized this kinda seems like i threw a stray at hollow knight i only mentioned them bcs i saw people kept mentioning that bc hollow knight is translated so should UTDR, but like hollow knight isn’t as text heavy as UTDR

i’ve been seeing a lot of discourse about the toby fox drama and bro… i completely understand why he doesn’t want to translate the game atm? like UTDR is literally HIS art, where nuance in language is needed (esp because it’s a dialogue filled game, unlike hollow knight)++

i love UTDR, and i love when it brings communities in different parts of the world together. in the future, when toby is done with deltarune, i hope he does find the opportunity to translate the game. but for now, i think people should be kind, as spreading hate helps nobody. (4)

and judging from the reactions of some people in the fandom and their ability to misinterpret and misconstrue words, i completely understand why he wouldn’t translate his story. of course, i believe that the game should be translated in many languages! (3)
