Last month, we ordered @FiveGuys for dinner via @DoorDash. It never showed up, but DoorDash said it was delivered. The "proof of delivery" photo from ~8pm was a screen cap from Zillow of the front of our house. In the daytime. With nothing at the front door. A 🍔🍟 thread.

I don’t know why it took me until 2021 to discover speculoos cookie butter spread, and I know it’s only January, but it’s going to be pretty tough for anything else to top this discovery all year

@KueblerSusan Interesting perspective. 5 months from the trial initialization or 5 months from now (general public vaccinations)? And what’s special about the 5 month mark from your experience?

@DrTomFrieden My reluctance to take the vaccine now is based on my having worked 15 years for a pharmaceutical company. I don’t feel that there were a sufficient (N) in the clinical trials, nor were they long enough. I’ll get one after 5 months have passed successfully.

Vaccines against Covid are turning out to be surprisingly effective. But for those who don't receive them (lack of access, understanding, or refusal), effectiveness is zero.
