@TLRyon @laralogan I find it interesting that the comments from widows are all the same. You all say the same sentiment regarding just making sure to breathe each minute. I have not seen a widow be critical of her actions. Maybe I’ve missed seeing a critical widow, but can’t recall.

As a recent widow, I am appalled at the hatred and evil directed at Erika. The first yaar for me was like walking through water. I was numb. If someone laughed, I laughed….i tried to keep moving..i did everything I could not to cry because once I started , I couldn’t stop. The one thing I could do was to preserve my husband’s legacy at whatever cost to me personally..…the second year was worse because reality hit like a ton of bricks..but anyone who lost their soulmate knows one thing…you do what you have to do to get through every minute, every hour, every day…and I didn’t have the complications and media scrutiny to deal with. I can’t believe the evil out there. You have no idea.and her husband was murdered in cold blood. She’s being killed too by self righteous evil people. I have no words

I knew Charlie Kirk from his early days. Over the years our paths would cross at events and TV studios and we would text each other & share thoughts & concerns about the situation in the country. I never saw him happier than he was after he married Erika & then became a father. It transformed him. He was mad about her & completely devoted to her & their beautiful children. He would run for the plane to get home as fast as he could. He literally could not wait to be with them, no matter where he was or what he was doing. It was a beautiful thing to see. I think the way Erika has been treated by some would wound him deeply. I cannot speak for him obviously, but as a man of principle & of his word,who was loyal & consistent & loved his wife/family deeply, it is not hard to imagine how this would make him feel. I do not need to name people or be dragged into some unseemly online squabble that to me is beneath any decent person & so far has served no worthy purpose or greater good. Those are battles no one ever wins anyway - we all lose something no matter what the outcome. I just try my best every day to do the right thing for the right reasons & speak up when I see something that to me is obviously wrong. You know it in your heart, you feel it in your soul. I do not know everything & nor do I pretend to - take this for whatever it is worth to you.

I had this nurse. On top of the traumatic birthing experience she gave me, after I delivered she made a bunch of racist comments about how some people, of a certain kind, need to be having abortions. I actually had hired a doula for my third pregnancy to avoid nurses at this hospital after that experience. Two years later, she’s attacking my friend and her new pregnancy.. good riddance lady.
