Senator John Curtis has been making headlines for the last few days with talk that he is eyeing a run for Utah Governor in 2028.
I received a statement from his office today:
"It is a special privilege to represent Utahns in the United States Senate. I love my work here and am extremely grateful for it. Despite recent speculation, I am happy where I am and have not spent a minute on plans to leave this office for another.
Whether as mayor, a member of the House, or now in the Senate, I’ve never approached public service by planning my next move. I’ve focused on doing the job I was elected to do, and doing it well. That’s been my approach from the beginning, and it’s exactly where my focus and energy are today."

Democrats in Utah drew a black Republican Congressman out of his district while complaining about not having “Black Districts” in other states.
You can’t make this up…
Rep. Burgess Owens: “Marxists want to divide us in any way they can… want blacks to feel that they are not worthy or unequal.”
“It’s been far too long that Democrats have gotten away with this… dividing people up, putting segregated groups of blacks and make them feel so miserable, so uneducated that they can control that process.”

No one cares about you gender or color. We care about your crazy ideas. There are plenty of white guys who get the rhetorical snot kicked out of them, because of their crappy ideas and policies. Can everyone stop with the race and victim cards? It's so old, boring and unimaginative.
