@Adtarie A workaround might be to make the repo private, and then set up some sort of password that needs to be entered to view the contents of the website but I'm not sure if something like that exists for Quarto, you could ask on the quarto-cli GitHub!

@Adtarie I mostly use GitLab Pages so I'm not sure about GitHub Pages. I believe GitHub Pages are *always* public even if you make the repo private. The same is true for GitLab buuut there *is* a way to have a private instance of GitLab (probably a question for your IT dept though)

@melvanbussel , thanks for sharing your experience in making documentation using quarto. One question though, is there a simple way to use authentification for github pages where the docs exist? I am trying to create docs, but the content is rather private, as I wanted only some people in my org can access it.
