Claude Code with Opus 4.7 can meet UI/UX expectations... but I will never use it to build even the smallest piece of backend for my businesses. We shouldn’t put down one company or another. Frontier models can be used for everything we need. GPT-5.5 will never give you decent UI/UX, and the same goes for Opus 4.7 when it comes to backend. Each company seems to be aligning itself with a specific need. OpenAI for backend and everything related to security. Anthropic for frontend and everything related to more creative and critical thinking. Everyone loves drama, but at the end of the day, we can’t avoid choosing the right models for the right tasks. Having multiple subscriptions seems necessary for the future. *P.S. the limits on Claude Code are still fucking low. CODEX win as always.*

I did not miss Claude Code limits. -8% of the weekly limits just to write a few documentation files with Sonnet 4.6... not even Opus 4.7. We’re cooked at this rate. Claude Code users, how do you survive? I’m also using cave mode, but it’s not like it works miracles.

Claude’s chain of thought is truly hidden. Using only the web app for now, I can only see the final output. Whereas in the ChatGPT app, you can see a bit of the model’s thinking. Did they do this because Chinese models have been using frontier models to train their own models? Probably yes.
