Poor form to see @zkFold resort to social media to handle business matters with @AnastasiaLabs ….. and in the process slander and insult @Catalyst_onX …. which is where the money came from in the first place….🤡 (Can’t make this ish up)
Also, mediocre energy to use drama for self promotion. (repeat behavior)

Our concerns regarding Phil are being addressed through the appropriate formal channels, including Catalyst.
With respect to the allegation that funds were misappropriated, this claim is false. We are preparing a public statement supported by evidence, including the executed Operating Agreement, written confirmations, and on-chain records

@phil_uplc from @AnastasiaLabs has pocketed our funds. He owes us 217,500 ADA.
We fully delivered our milestones under the joint Mithril project (milestones.projectcatalyst.io/projects/12002…). Phil received the funds for work performed by @zkFold and deliberately transferred nothing to us. For months, he has ignored repeated requests across multiple channels. This is plain daylight robbery.
To make matters worse:
- 31 October. zkFold completed and submitted the final milestone of the P2P project (milestones.projectcatalyst.io/projects/11001…).
- November. Phil quietly requested the Catalyst team to replace the wallet under our control with a wallet under his control.
- November. The @Catalyst_onX, evidently asleep at the wheel, approved and executed this change without notification, verification, or basic due diligence. Zero responsibility. Zero accountability. Zero communication.
- December. Without our knowledge or consent, our funds were handed directly to Phil on a silver platter, coming as a complete surprise to us.
The irony is that @phil_uplc, a member of the Cardano Constitutional Committee, whose dishonest conduct has affected multiple teams within the Cardano ecosystem, is simultaneously building Midgard, a protocol explicitly premised on trust. Such behaviour constitutes a material ecosystem risk, undermining developer confidence, deterring funders, and causing lasting reputational damage to Cardano if left unaddressed.
@Catalyst_onX team, with all due respect for your contribution to the @Cardano community, you have demonstrated serious incompetence in financial governance on two separate occasions, directly resulting in substantial financial loss for zkFold.
This is a failure of basic controls. Get your ducks in a row. Implement proper internal controls and apply standard financial best practices. If this is beyond your current capability, we are prepared to provide free guidance.

After months of miscommunication and lack of transparency regarding a potential $2 million USD investment for Midgard, Phil removed Mladen and me from Anastasia Labs accounts.
For clarity and accuracy, I want to address the false accusation that funds were stolen from Anastasia Labs.
As a co-founder and former CTO, I can confirm that all distributions were carried out according to the Operating Agreement. The Operating Agreement is a legally binding document, and we complied fully with its terms.
We have clear evidence supporting this, including:
- A signed Operating Agreement executed through DocuSign
- Screenshots of Phil agreeing to the distribution
- Discord messages confirming the agreement
- Bank emails showing the USD withdrawal
- Blockchain transactions proving the distributions
After we were removed from Anastasia Labs accounts, we requested that the funds be distributed according to the Operating Agreement. Phil agreed and chose to retain ownership of Anastasia Labs, including all Catalyst proposals and treasury withdrawals.
Under the Operating Agreement:
- I received 45% of the ADA held by Anastasia Labs at that time
- Phil received 45% in ADA and USD 189,900 from the Mercury bank account
- Mladen received 10% as agreed
From the time we were removed, nearly 1 million ADA remained under Anastasia Labs and Phil’s control, which is publicly verifiable on-chain.
In addition to ongoing Catalyst funds, Phil also retained control of two treasury withdrawals:
- Midgard – Optimistic Rollups: 2,162,096 ADA
- Lucid Evolution Maintenance: 130,903 ADA
This totals approximately 3,292,999 ADA under Anastasia Labs and Phil’s control (including Catalyst funds that remained after our departure).
If the unverified $2 million USD investment was indeed received, the total value under Anastasia Labs and Phil’s control could amount to approximately $2,000,000 USD in addition to 3,292,999 ADA.
The accusation that funds were stolen is therefore unfounded and inconsistent with the public record.
If anyone requires the evidence or verification, I am available to provide it. I encourage anyone with doubts to review the on-chain data directly and verify the facts before sharing misinformation.

Certainly they can help you, because they are the individuals who have the funds paid out from those proposals, and who willfully stole those funds before departure Anastasia Labs. Look at the flow of funds onchain from the catalyst payments and the flow of the payouts from catalyst. You’ll notice that the entire ADA balance (including the ada you mention as owed to you) was moved out of the Anastasia Labs wallet into a new wallet, in sole custody of NoWitnessLabs (the two ex-Anastasia labs) individuals above. Even now, those stolen funds (catalyst funds paid out to Anastasia Labs) are being paid out from their new shared company wallet into their own wallets to pay salaries for NWL. The great thing about a public blockchain is that the ledger history doesn’t lie, and cannot be fabricated.
