@totodile_king They are great cards and I love them, but in a time when there are so many illustrated full arts, many of these cards will slip through the cracks. They can't all be $1000+ PSA 10s or even $500+ PSA 10s.

Targeting mid-low pop Alt arts right now. Genuinely think their market is underrated. These are fire and prices aren’t nearly as crazy as Ascended Heroes, Vintage, or mid era. Call me crazy or whatever but this is where I’m looking!

Nvidia's CEO is still in damage control mode after DLSS 5 set the company's gaming reputation on fire last week.
"I think their perspective makes sense and I can see where they're coming from, because I don't love AI slop myself," he said in a new interview.
"You know, all of the AI generated content increasingly looks similar and they're all beautiful and so I'm empathetic towards what they're thinking. That's just not what DLSS 5 is trying to do"

Are we surprised? Typically that's how it goes. If there's not expensive chase cards in a Pokemon set it's "trash" or a "flop."
Was this the same feeling for Destined Rivals? Ascended Heroes? Nope. Why? Expensive chases.
That's how sets are judged nowadays.

I really dislike NN, but he always points out something I agree with. People are paying insane prices to rip and keeping market going because of the "potential" return of the chase cards. Supports my point that Pokemon fixes the hobby within 3 months if they would make pull rates similar to CZ/SV1 days.

I collect sealed because I wish I could go back to Base Set or Neo and feel the same rush I did as a child.
I have a few vintage packs but most of my sealed in more modern. Will modern product scratch the itch of reliving my childhood?
No, but it will still be fun to wait years after a set has been gone and go back to open it. The rush of reliving when that set came out is going to be worth it! Plus making new memories with my son.

IMO, if you wanna take time off from your job to go wait in line - do it.
Take your PTO, sick time, go into work late. Take time to do the things you want to do, whatever that is.
One thing i learned the hard way is that these companies don’t care about you. And if you kick the bucket, they’ll have your job posted before your obituary. So you may as well enjoy your time
