Big congratulations to @LyndenRodrigues for receiving the @CIHR_IRSC Canada Postdoctoral Research Award ($70K/year for 2 years)! Very well deserved!👏This funding will support a randomized controlled trial using 12 weeks of exercise to prevent cognitive impairment post-stroke.

We’re proud of @LotlikarMadhura for presenting at Somnosciences Québec, organized by Réseau Sommeil. 💤 She shared her work on coping with sleep loss through exercise and strategic napping, and identifying barriers to implementing sleep research in rehabilitation settings.

This past weekend, @LotlikarMadhura presented her research "Nap, Exercise, or Do Nothing: Finding the Best Strategy to Protect Memory After Sleep Loss" at the Canadian Sleep Society National Conference! We’re proud to see Madhura contribute to this vital conversation on sleep.

Congrats to @ankevr97 for obtaining a highly competitive 2 year postdoctoral fellowship by @ParkinsonCanada. Starting June 1st, Anke will be in the @memorylab1 continuing the @CIHR_IRSC funded RCT led by @jacopocristini that investigates the effects of exercise on sleep in PD.

Postdoc Lynden Rodrigues attended the 2025 CANTRAIN Clinical Trials Training Summit in Vancouver as an awardee of @StrokeCog fellowship. Lynden presented his poster for our upcoming @CIHR-funded trial, which was awarded 3rd best presentation!
