@CManuel_Obi @ChuksEricE You don't just come out to speak about a crowned king in such a manner, if he has a hand in this the chief priest would mention. And I'm also from Ozoro though i wasn't born and raised there but I've stayed in the community and I've never heard about such festivals.

It is a big lie to say that the king wasn’t informed, this is an age long tradition that has been going on for years, the kind is the custodian of the tradition and culture in Ozoro, nothing passes without his consent, shame he is a lawyer but couldn’t abolish this barbaric culture. He needs to be arrested immediately, the police are protecting the main culprit here.

Update on Ozoro r@-p!ng festival; The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) visited the King of Ozoro Kingdom in Delta State over the reported incidents. According to reports, the delegation confirmed that they had also visited several affected female students receiving treatment at the hospital. The King assured them that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. In a related development, the Chief Priest of Ozoro, alongside Oramudhu leaders allegedly responsible for organizing and planning the festival without informing the king, were arrested by the Nigeria Police in connection with the incident. The King of Ozoro Kingdom has also banned the festival with immediate effect.
