I know that faith is different than religious practices. But throughout faith, you indulge in the pleasures of obedience. It’s transformed from an order to something that your soul craves in this mad world.
And I think Faith is a blessing given to who earns it.
Things like opening a random page in the Quran and thinking it’s a divine message just on time. As if it was written for you. Or Dhikr that keeps me grounded when earth is shaking. Or praying that keeps me disciplined.
I pity people who keep themselves busy with everything, because they feel very empty inside. As if you can’t stand your own company.
You can’t fill the void that’s within you with something that is outside of you. There’s a reason why it’s called inside out and not out inside.
What you do, is a reflection of you.
What you choose to see in me, is still a reflection of you.
What you get from me, is exactly what you give to me.
What I decide to give to myself, is a reflection of me.
