@deanoburns Depends what "triage" includes in your place. Decide it's cardiac sounding chest pain & send to majors for ECG is easy, 12 an hr no prob. But find a pt to kick out to get space to do ECG, get frail pt there, unwrap layers, find ECG machine with charge & paper.... 2 an hr max.

EM folk, how many patients would you expect a single nurse to be able to triage per hour, on average? I was asked this question and wasn’t sure and the range of answers was quite striking.

I do love my home 💙. It's very quiet at this time of day. I have a nice set up here in my room with my bed, armchair and TV. I've got my side table with floor lamp next to my armchair to read. I do pinch myself now and then that this is my home.

Horrendous CEPOD list this afternoon. Theatre co-ordinator was sensible and even managed a case or two solo; but the ODP was no help, the playlist was awful and half the kit was missing.
