Kakashi had guilt and trauma, but he still had people around him pulling him back. Obito literally watched the person he trusted most kill the girl he loved, exactly how Madara planned it. In Obito’s mind, he lost Rin and Kakashi in the same moment. Meanwhile, Kakashi still had the village, Guy, and eventually Team 7. Obito was isolated with Madara and Zetsu constantly feeding his despair and hatred.

O pessoal falando que quem mais sofreu com a morte da Rin foi o Kakashi. Não sei para eles ou para vocês, mas pra mim, foi o Obito quem sofreu mais. Porque o Obito realmente amava a Rin. E eu acho que, naquele momento, ela provavelmente era a pessoa mais importante da vida dele. Imagina a cena pela perspectiva dele: o cara chega depois de todo aquele sofrimento… e vê justamente o rival de infância atravessando o peito da garota que ele amava com um Raikiri. Aquilo destruiu completamente a mente dele. E antes que alguém fale: “ah, mas a Rin não gostava dele”. Isso não muda o sofrimento dele. Amar alguém não significa que a pessoa vai retribuir. O sentimento continua existindo mesmo assim. E sinceramente? Independente dos erros que o Obito cometeu depois, eu ainda acho que ele sofreu mais emocionalmente com a morte da Rin do que o Kakashi.
