@itsmewaldi@Theholisticpsyc It works better for some cultures. Having grown up in Asia the shorter responses are more valued because they are more efficient. If the asker wants more context they will ask you and you can decide if you want to supply more context.
I think this clear and kind style of communication is toeing a fine line:
On one hand, you should be direct, clear, and brief.
On the other, you could come off as rude, inconsiderate, or cold.
What works for me is being clear and direct, but also grounding what I say in one clear easy-to-understand reason.
Toes the line well and can be extended or shortened as needed.
