stop treating your funded account like a "someday" thing.
it's literally a form and a fee away.
@mentfutures. today. ✅

you've got the system. you've got the data. you've been trading the same edge on an account that doesn't let you prove it.
stop sizing down. stop redepositing. stop wasting the skill you already built.
mentfunding.com - your edge deserves better than a micro account.
English

imagine trading your exact same system... same setups, same rules, same edge.
but on a $200k account where proper risk means 2-3 contracts instead of 1 micro. where one good week covers a month of expenses. where drawdown doesn't threaten your rent.
that's not a fantasy. that's what funding solves. the skill was already there. the capital just wasn't.
English

you cut that ES runner at +10 points because you couldn't afford to give back the open profit.
your system said hold. your account said you can't.
that's not a discipline problem. that's your capital forcing you to trade scared... and scared traders leave money on the table every single session.
English

the difference between a futures trader who makes $500/month and one who makes $15,000/month usually isn't skill.
it's contracts.
same system. same entries. same risk management. completely different results based on what's behind the trade.
nobody talks about the capital gap. everyone talks about the strategy gap.
English

there are two types of prop firms in this industry...
one gives you a clear evaluation, funds you, and makes money when you make money. the rules are simple. the drawdown is static. and if you breach while in profit... you still get paid your share.
the other hides behind complex structures, trails your drawdown, uses equity-based calculations most traders don't fully understand, and profits whether you pass or fail.
know the difference before you put your edge on the line.

why am i doing any of this?
my daughter. my wife. their happiness. their comfort. my happiness. my comfort.
that’s it.
once i answered that for myself - everything else became clearer. every discipline i’ve worked on. every sacrifice i’ve made. including trading.
today’s international women’s day. and i wanted to take a moment to highlight some of my why’s.
seeing my daughter smile is my why.
taking a random trip with my family whenever i feel like it, on my own time - that’s my why.
working from home with my family in the other room is my why.
depending on myself is my why.
many get involved in trading. few ever make it to a point that puts a long-term smile on their face. and that holds true for almost any skill set in the world... when a process is rushed, shortcutted, treated like an “easy” answer - you end up nowhere. you end up hurt, burnt out, and losing faith in the industry. sometimes you lose faith in yourself.
so while i appreciate the special why’s in my life today, i also want to remind you - maintain the faith you have in yourself. and grow it.
the easiest way to do that is to follow a process that most won’t.
sit down and ask yourself why you’re doing the things you’re doing. why you’re learning the things you’re learning. even if the answer is just “for myself” - that’s enough.
because once you have an aim, it becomes a lot harder to do stupid shit. on the charts. in your life. anywhere.
before i had anything, i had a why.
happy international women’s day to the ones who gave me mine.

@fxNikhil @MentFunding Probably the best trading conditions in the entire prop-firm industry.
I researched extensively and couldn’t find anything better than Ment Funding.
No account snatching over silly reasons.
If you’re profitable, payouts are never a concern.

the cycle for most futures traders looks the same...
deposit $5k. trade proper risk for a week. get impatient because $200 wins don't move the needle. size up. one bad day wipes the account.
redeposit. repeat.
the system was never the problem. the capital behind it was. and you've known this for months.
English

you're trading one micro NQ contract because that's all your account can handle at proper risk.
the setup hits. runs 80 points. and you made $160.
meanwhile the same system on real size would've paid your rent for the month.
you don't have a system problem. you have a capital problem. and sizing down to survive is slowly killing your edge.
