Bye bye @Flipkart . Today you lost a regular customer, who's been shopping with you for years. Infact, I ordered everyday from Flipkart Minutes for the fruit selection. Today out of my entire order, 1 item was missing. I ordered 2 packets of peanuts, got only 1. I contacted support, they claim, and I quote, "The store has confirmed that they have reviewed this internally and the product was delivered, and the delivery executive's location was at your delivery address." Great job Sherlock, ofcourse the guy delivered at my door. I am not saying entire order is missing. One item was missing. Then they said they have a photo of the item delivered. I said share the photo with me, and if there are indeed 2 packets of peanuts in the photo, I will drop this instantly. They refused, stating, "We are unable to share the proof of delivery image due to our internal privacy and security policies." So they trust the store over the customer, won't share the evidence the store supposedly has, won't refund me, and then call the case resolved. I asked to speak to a manager. The customer support nonchalanty said, "They will also provide the same 'resolution'." How is this a resolution? It is infuriating speaking to customer support this dumb. I would rather talk to an AI bot. At least it would follow the logic of the conversation. The support agent directed me to their escalation desk, who said he is the final authroty on the matter. So I asked to speak to his manager too. He said they is no one above him. So apparently he is the CEO, running Flipkart out of a chat window. Companies pour money into winning customers. It’s the support desk that quietly decides who stays. Today, @flipkartsupport made sure I don’t.
