@studywithmiejie What is your metric for self assessment ? I’m such a nerd for this because I am an immersion CI learner and my prong read is felt through vibes in conversation

How do you study vocabulary? 😊 Personally, I prefer learning through immersion and output like journaling. I don’t use flashcards, but once in a while, I do a self-assessment using Google Sheets. I still have a long way to go, but I’m happy with my progress. 화이팅! ✨ #langtwt

@ravcnei I used and use duolingo for a long time. Its a better use then your time, good if you have a lot going on, but it wont get you fluent Honestly the biggest change was hiring a italki teacher just to talk and using my own app to practice and learn new words - its called taletutor

@mercedesssss___ You can learn some slang words and expressions without being fluent, I guess. But the whole thing - that's D2 level.

I love how Google translate is completely hopeless with Catalán slang. Always worth pressing the translate button for a laugh. Any other languages where it's like that? #langtwt

@HongSongShu29 Well grammar in my opinion comes with time. Learning it before you can speak any is alittle silly. It’s like learning the fundamentals of coding before you can hello world.

I have a textbook whose introduction says it gives explanations in English. It does not. So I’m literally out here making up my own rules for understanding the grammar and hoping for the best. #langtwt
