IRAN CLAIMS U.S. FIGHTER JET HIT IN JORDAN
Official Iranian media have released satellite images they claim show damage to a 30-meter-wide hangar at Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti Air Base following Iranian missile strikes. Iranian outlets further allege the hangar housed a U.S. fighter jet that was hit.
The claim has not been independently verified.

Gold miners are valued near a decade low against the S&P 500, while earning more than they have in years.
The S&P 500 to GDX ratio fell to around 76 by April 2026, a level last seen in early 2016, and well below its 200-day moving average.
At the end of the last major gold cycle it bottomed near 18.
The chart runs to April 2026. Miners had regained ground on the index for the first time in years, and were still priced at a fraction of the last cycle's extreme.

"A guy looked at my airplane the other day and said I wonder how many people I could have fed for the price of that airplane...
I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families at the Dassault factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a bunch of families that rolled the aluminum at the Alcoa factory. It surely fed a lot of people at the Honeywell factory where the experts built the turbines. It fed a whole company for a few weeks when I had them build me a new interior. It feeds the families of the linemen that fuel it.
That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for."

Far-left ideologue @SenWarren is trying to discredit a fresh review of the Fed’s SVB supervisory 2022 failures before it has even begun, no doubt to protect her sock puppets Michael Barr and Lael Brainard.
Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants. Americans deserve a full accounting of what regulators missed, whether earlier reviews were adequate, and who should be held accountable.

The truth comes out. Biden’s Stasi who claimed to be saving “our sacred democracy” in fact worked overtime to destroy it - all for power. They spied on Catholic churches, prosecuted pro-lifers, deployed the FBI against parents at school board meetings - and tried to tap the phones of their political enemies. Including mine. This is an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond J. Edgar Hoover, one that directly strikes at the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the First Amendment. We need a full investigation of all involved: who knew about it, who ordered it, and who approved it. Anyone and everyone who violated the law must be prosecuted. The way to save the country is to restore the rule of law.

Seems like a good time to remind everyone there still is no French-led flotilla escorting ships through, despite Macron sitting at a table and signing a piece of paper in March promising France would lead an international effort to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
