Farewell to our CEO, Chris French, retiring this summer after a remarkable 36-year career! Chris has been an inspirational leader, dedicated to improving education & ensuring every child succeeds. Thank you, Chris, for your leadership & commitment to making a difference.

Last week we were proud to officially appoint our first ever team of prefects, head pupils, and deputy head pupils. These scholars have shown commitment and determination throughout their time at Mercia School, and they proudly represent our school community 👏🎉

Today we hosted a tour of our 7 schools for trustees, governors, and our new headteacher at @Woodlands_Prim, Mark Bennett. Our trustees, members and governors are unpaid volunteers, and their commitment is truly impressive, reflected by taking time away from their daily routines.

Our Y6M children are enjoying a superb workshop courtesy of Sheffield Theatres @crucibletheatre The theme of the day is ‘Behind The Magic - a play in a day’. The children are absolutely loving it!!
