The Albanese Government is an economic trainwreck. Since coming to office, the number of unemployed Australians has risen by more than 218,000. To put that figure into perspective, the additional unemployed would be enough to fill the MCG twice over. In July 2022, there were 473,600 unemployed Australians. The latest ABS data show that number has now climbed to 692,000. With Labor’s disastrous budget, this situation is only likely to deteriorate further.
