No, he didn’t. He fought to expand the ACA, which was one of the sole drivers of premiums increasing. Just last year he argued for taxpayer money to be sent directly to large insurance companies by extending COVID era policy (again, paid for by YOU) Almost nothing he says is based in reality. #ncsen
Roy Cooper@RoyCooperNC

Health care should be affordable and accessible for hardworking North Carolinians. I fought to lower health care costs when I was Governor, and I’ll do the same when I get to the Senate.

"My agenda is to build an economy that is going to work better for North Carolina and to make sure that we are keeping our kids and our communities safe... The Democrats are doubling down on open borders, inflationary spending, and a woke, weak America." -@WhatleyNC

We remember Comrade Cooper!
A.P. Dillon@APDillon_

If that image looks familiar, it may be because it looks a lot like North Carolina infamous 12th Congressional District map drawn by the Democratic controlled General Assembly in 1992, which was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2017 in Cooper v. Harris. thearp.org/litigation/coo… Yes, that "Cooper" in Cooper v. Harris would be Roy Cooper when he was Attorney General... but he was an NCGA Senator (appointed in 1991 to the 10th District) at the time the map was drawn. The 1992 redistricting happened during a special session in January of that year. Ironically perhaps, the bill involved was House Bill 2 (and companion bill SB2). #ncpol #ncga

In 2018, @RoyCooperNC VERY QUIETLY attended the Charlotte LGBT Chamber’s Annual Meeting, hosted by Turner (there was no mention of the event on Cooper’s official or campaign social media, and no mainstream outlet covered Cooper’s attendance). #NCPOL

I was assured this never happens.
Attorney General Tim Griffin@AGTimGriffin

Eight people in Phillips County recently turned themselves in after agents in my Special Investigations Division obtained warrants for their arrest on felony charges related to a runoff election for the Phillips County Justice of the Peace seat for District 9. Lita Moore Johnson, 62, a teacher at Marvell School District who won the runoff election for the Justice of the Peace seat, was one of the individuals arrested after evidence was submitted that she told multiple voters to illegally change the address on their voter registration so that they could vote for her in the runoff. Johnson was charged with two counts of solicitation to commit perjury, a class D felony. Seven other individuals were charged with perjury, a class C felony, for fraudulently changing their address on an Arkansas Voter Registration Application. Each of them voted in the precinct corresponding with the District 9 Justice of the Peace runoff despite their actual address dictating that they vote elsewhere. They are: •    Mearion Armstrong, 68, retired
•    Cordelia Foster, 60, an elementary teacher at KIPP Public School in Helena
•    Shirley Hicks, 56, a custodian at Barton School District
•    Jasean Smith, 30, a teacher at Central High School in Helena and the pastor of Galilee Church
•    Adam Swopes, 26, a lieutenant with the Arkansas Department of Corrections
•    Rachel Gamble Sykes, 56, Arkansas Crime Information Center coordinator for the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office
•    Jocelyn Washington, 39, who works at the Phillips County Development Center Keeping Arkansas’s elections the most secure in the country requires vigilance and perseverance, and I am pleased to see these individuals held accountable for their actions. tinyurl.com/nbbxv2ct #arnews

"Crooked Roy Cooper can't be bothered to praise the incredible success of our military in Iran as he lies about who made health care unaffordable in our country. Democrats rammed through Obamacare, and working families paid the price, particularly in North Carolina, whose costs became the highest in the nation under his watch," said @NCGOP Communications Director Matt Mercer. #NCPOL #NCSEN

Really living up to the Do Nothing Don Davis nickname #ncpol #nc01
Congressional Leadership Fund@CLFSuperPAC

.@DonDavisNC took THOUSANDS in taxpayer dollars for not showing up to work. He’s now not responding to questions about it. “Davis declined to answer any of six questions from The Center Square. Some were basic in nature about understanding per diem rules, others about direct occasions. He didn’t share his understanding of the law or his pattern of practice in compliance.” @thecentersquare thecentersquare.com/north_carolina…
