@CyclingLawLDN @GreenwichCycle Hello, the owner of the old mirror shop decided to retired after the COVID. I believe he has cleared most of his items like spider man etc. But we still keep the Betty Boop on the top of the building

@GreenwichCycle @meridiancycle I haven’t been in but looks great. Any understanding behind the backstory to this and what happened to the mirror shop (which had quite quirky ornaments) that used to be there?

Needed a tiny part for a beleaguered pannier rack. Big bike retailer unable to help but @meridiancycle saved the day. Shows the value of a good local bike shop. Even better, it’s located on Cycleway 4 🧰

蔡老师您好，我是一个游泳爱好者，了解游泳池的结构。看游泳比赛大家也知道八个泳道有水线隔开，水线隔开意思是水里出事完全可以抓住水线让自己不溺水，再说现在泳池深度一般都是一米六到一米二，站起来都没有问题。所以我对此事的看法是，首先新闻里只是说心脏病突发全力抢救不治零点死亡，但依照我所了解的中央保健部门的保健规定，细节方面简直难以置信，如果是白天日常活动身边肯定有警卫保健医生还有他夫人（不知是否跟随去了上海）。 后来流传出来的消息是说游泳时心脏病发作，给人印象是在水里来不及施救，但我们看以前毛邓江叶等人游泳时身边都有伴游，随时关注情况，大概率可见这是硬性规定。那么李克强游泳时应该有伴游随时观察，再不济岸边也有警卫和医生，医生必须提前对泳池测温对李克强做身体检查，看看是否可以下水，普通人下水前都要做一些预备动作和沐浴，以便适应下水后的运动，更何况68岁正国级。 我在几个城市工作过都坚持到游泳馆游泳，基本上每个游泳池都要四到五个救生员坐在四边高凳上观察泳池情况，这是游泳馆标配，十几年我从来没见过游泳池发生过溺水事故，普通人的安保都这么严格更何况高官。 游泳对人的心肺锻炼很有好处，一般游泳者心脏功能都比较好，李嘉诚先生就一直坚持游泳。所以这一切都无法解释李克强竟然没有心脏病的抢救时间。联想到四月份中央警卫局局长去世六月才报道，联想到由公安部成立的特勤局，他们的安保工作可能出现了一系列重大漏洞，最大善意的想象判断这都是一次严重的责任事故。 心理学有一种反向思维，好像是犯罪心理学讲过，就是一件事发生的太过诡异反而会诱使人们去思考应该是极端不可能的事情发生了，然后归结于倒霉巧合，反而不去想正常情况下根本不可能发生的事情偏偏发生了。 现在党政军高层必须严肃认真对待李克强的死困，不然后患无穷，要搞清楚李克强出事前后，陪伴在他身边的是一些什么人，名字、职务以及所属的部门，并及时对外公开，如果这些人知道真相并参与了整个过程，也要看看这些人未来的结局和下场如何。

@ThebestFigen Shame her salary in China probably only 1000£-1500£ per month if she is lucky, also she has to work minimum 10 hours a days and 6 days a week, no annual leave.

That means £7.09 for 2 kids chips and drinks, ridiculously! The kids need the food! Tried to contact ubereats , never get through. I will never ever use this rubbish service!

@ubereats_uk Ubereats is total rubbish now. Order 2 kids hamburger meal which cost £4.99 each. When the food come, no hamburgers at all. Then you can only use there app to report the missing food, after a while, they issued the refund for £2.89 in total!!

@lxtwin @Royal_Greenwich Shame to see it go, it’s been there as long as I remember! I notice they still have a Betty Boo statue on the roof, I guess as a reminder of the shop’s previous life.
