dragon age veilguard initially was developed with multiplayer bones. it’s why Skillup accurately described the level design as “overwatch maps.” the simple puzzles resemble Destiny and its failed descendants Godfall, the Avengers and of course, Bioware’s Anthem.
we always ask “what if avengers or suicide squad was single player?”Veilguard is a fascinating experiment on how to reverse engineer live service projects once they realized it wasn’t worth the risk. i actually think that’s admirable
