I think flirting in dms can be cheating but a fire emoji here and there? A like here and there? That’s just rooting for people. Even if it’s a thirst trap. Even if someone gets a moment of joy from doing it/getting the attention. It just doesn’t matter, mean anything, etc.

I realized we were accidentally giving my daughter a pouch that had dairy in it and she hadn’t had symptoms, so we started giving her dairy again, which means I’ve been eating it again, and it’s hard to explain how much better I feel while simultaneously feeling physically worse

Today we met up for breakfast with friends who were in town and we used to do comedy with one of them and he looked at my 1 yr old daughter covered in cheese grits that she was shoveling into her mouth and said “you look like your mom in a Waffle House in Huntsville”

Another word that gets thrown around a lot that’s supposed to comfort but often annoys me is “mom guilt.” I’m experiencing a feeling of guilt bc I’m doing something less than optimal for my child. Sometimes it’s unavoidable but other times it’s a good idea to listen to the guilt

@jeffdmovies Lolol I was at a pretty good place before I got pregnant with Josie but tbh if I’m not getting drunk it’s just too boring to be worth whatever health effects it’s causing. But if I get drunk to the point that it’s fun I’ve been known to cause some problems as well lol

The way bans work in middle school is that kids don’t have them at all. It works great. No chance in hell kids can learn at all with access to their phones. You can blame teachers for that all you want but kids having phones is like teaching in a casino

I hate imagining these scenarios but this could only make things worse. Phones don’t work if everyone uses them, and there are a million other reasons that the kids on the phones would make it worse and less safe.

@CuriousBunnie12 Best advice I got was find a few people you trust and seek only their advice, whether it’s experts or a parenting style/book, or a pediatrician, or another professional, or a family member/friend. Social media is poisonous for parenting. It’s all designed to make you insane.
