How does EIP-7702 affect the wallet landscape? (this isn't tone-deaf, it's just meant as a break from EF discussions 💀) On first look, you might think it's bad news for existing account abstraction wallets. It's actually the best thing that happened to the space, including to existing players: from Ambire's POV, our main blocker to adoption has always been two things 1) aversion to adopt new accounts, strong stickiness of existing accounts 2) dependence on stuff from the EOA model that AA doesn't have: support for all EVM chains, simple familiar security model (trezor/ledger) Fortunately, EIP-7702 helps us solve both of those! As such, I'm expecting it to truly unlock the potential of AA wallets, especially ones that already acknowledge EOA's strengths such as Ambire (we support EOAs and our Smart Accounts copy EOA's core security model). This is all assuming that your target audience is crypto natives. This is another topic in itself, but it cannot be anyone else, as normies don't care and don't have sufficient incentive to care about self-custody yet, except memecoins on Solana. Ok, but what about Metamask and Rabby? Can't they just add EIP-7702 support and kill off dedicated AA wallets. Sure they can, and they will. But AA wallets will have a head start when it comes to AA features (gas abstraction, batching, recovery) that will be hard to catch up. I wouldn't put it past both of them though - as much hate as MM gets, they're one of the best wallet teams in the space. No need to say anything about Rabby, they're the only team that disrupted MM and building crazy quickly. Clearly EIP-7702 is a gift: it unlocks the potential of AA wallets, but also makes it a much more competitive field as it means everyone will be an AA wallet But AA wallets need to stay on top of their game and make sure to engage users ASAP, on a different level than the traditional web3 experience... ⚔️⚔️⚔️

@Ivshti issue isn't with gambling and meme coins, it's if we just switch from visa to visa on-chain vs. truly creating an ecosystem for the majority of people, pivoting from a self-centered approach of living in the world

@Ivshti problems of current audience aren't necessarily the same as the broader one's, firstly because the broader audience isn't on-chain yet and doesn't understand cryptolian but it's not about new markets, it's about our world view

@Ivshti that will not interest or appeal to those who want their ETH to be on par with BTC and meme coins target reflects in goals and positioning, so if you build for less than tens of millions of users, why would you expect to have millions adopt your offering?

Câteodată sunt foarte șocat de ce văd în România. După ce s-au anulat alegerile, unii cred încă că a fost ok că s-a întâmplat în felul în care s-a întâmplat. Mai mult de atât, alții cer închiderea unor televiziuni și arestarea la ordin a unor persoane fără a avea probe. E grav rău: pentru cine a citit puțină istorie, astea nu sunt practici democratice, ci comunisto-securiste. Asta se întâmpla în România în comunism… Mai rău este că mulți oameni din media susțin asta. România are o idee foarte rea despre democrație. E rău rău și, dacă nu vedem asta repede, o să distrugem și ultima fărâmă de democrație rămasă din țara asta. Acum știu că vor fi comentarii de la oameni care sunt foarte părtinitori pe o direcție, fie globalistă, fie naționalistă, care nu privesc lucrurile logic, ci emoțional. Nu, alegerile NU trebuiau anulate fără probe reale și clare. V-am dat exemple pe live și vă dau și acum: SUA 2016: FBI avea mii de pagini de raport contra lui Trump că ar avea legături cu Rusia. Alegerile au mers înainte. A fost chiar acuzat, dar în final, după câțiva ani, s-a dovedit fals. La fel și în 2024: Trump vs Kamala. Anchete contra lui Trump cu China, TikTok, Rusia etc. În final, alegerile s-au întâmplat. Franța 2022: Similar, multe documente împotriva doamnei Marine Le Pen, tot acuzată că e pro-rusă. Alegerile au continuat. De ce? Pentru că democrația este mai importantă decât niște lucruri pe care le poți sau nu dovedi în final. Iar dacă un candidat nedorit câștigă, mereu există pârghii pentru a ține un echilibru democratic și după alegeri. În final, cetățeanul va alege. Manipulările sunt oricum din toate direcțiile. Dacă cetățeanul votează ce nu-ți convine, e alegerea lui să o facă. În România NU a fost o lovitură de stat, ci o lovitură a statului însuși asupra cetățenilor, de care a uitat în ultimii 35 de ani. Sunt convins că România își va reveni, dar nu putem face asta băgând gunoiul sub preș sau făcându-ne că nu există și că totul este ok. Nu, nu este ok, iar singurii care putem schimba asta suntem noi, prin a ne implica puternic de acum încolo și a pune presiune, în mod civilizat și legal, asupra statului pentru a-l face să lucreze pentru noi.
