As a journalist, my goal has always been to shine a light on stories that go unseen by mainstream audiences. I truly do apologize for letting you down with this Collider piece. I will learn, and I will apply better care to future stories <3 i hope you stick around to see that.

If you've read the piece (and look beyond what offends you), it's clear to see what my opinion is: we shouldn't moralize fictional characters, doxxing and being awful to those who have been doxxed is horrid, and fandoms need to be anti-racist and anti-homophobia/transphobia ASAP

The point of the Collider article was to showcase that this racist and transphobic hatred is seen across all fandoms, regardless of pro-shipping and anti-proshipping status. And that there are truly horrid people taking advantage of the chaos formed by in-fighting to do this.

Obviously, I've been investigating this for months now, but somehow I never expected this level of reaction. I knew it was gonna be bad, but I never expected THIS. I'd recommend re-reading the article, noticing what connects all these stories, and seeing the bigger picture.

Going after the sources of my latest article is absolutely despicable. You don't have to like someone personally to understand why and how their voices matter. This is only perpetuating the point of my article. Be better.
