day 82 of building @meshapi_ai added 9 new providers, AI Studio, Kling, Cohere, Novita, AtlasCloud, Cerebras, SiliconFlow, Parasail, Venice. 100s of models across chat, embeddings, image, video, and audio. also shipped a public rankings API at /v1/rankings, and routing policy templates so orgs can define how traffic gets routed once and reuse it everywhere. biggest concerns for orgs building on AI: - every provider prices differently, - some change without notice, - video pricing shifts by resolution

dhruv rathee launced Mesh API, an OpenRouter alternative - good developers docs - good discount - templates are there - similar openrouter analytics ui overall its good, still confused about adoption in dev community

day 78 of building @meshapi_ai Mesh was born to empower people to build. the #MeshHackathon is showing us what that actually looks like... and some of what people are making genuinely stopped me. one project helps people understand what's on their phone screen, in their own language, spoken out loud, so an elderly parent can tell whether a message is real or a scam before they act on it. someone built a shield for their family using AI. another is a testing layer for AI prompts. the idea being that a prompt is really untested code, so it runs your prompt across models and tells you what breaks before your users ever see it. reliability that most teams are still missing. and those are two of many. people are building across totally different worlds: some deeply human, some hardcore developer tooling, ...all routed through Mesh. we've also been listening hard to where Mesh falls short, and we've been heads down fixing it. this is the whole reason we're doing this. more soon.
