@Masterpaddaddy @misfitpatriot_ The verses from the Qur’an are legal matters understood and used by jurists. The verses from the Bible have been used historically by Christian’s to force conversion. The two are absolutely not the same.

You obviously missed the point. The verses I shared in the Quran give islamists an excuse to wage war on non-believers. The verse you shared gives no reason for those who used it to wage war. The verse clearly talks about evangelizing to non-believers to bring them to the kingdom of Christ. The 2 are not the same.

Again, there is no room for any compulsion in faith or religion in Islam … there is no room for forced conversion or the like … and this is made clear in the Qur’an. This is a christian projection and nothing more. 5.) the Qur’an is a book of mercy … plain & simple.
