Which doesn’t really require any further analysis - it was unfortunately rumoured that the completely aura-less Lacey Evans was targeting a return to professional wrestling, presumably to link up with AJ Styles so they can plot a way to prove the earth is flat and mental illness is all an illusion fed to us through Mountain Dew - The short dude with the massive gack problem went on another late night drug rant and boldly confirmed, with zero insight or knowledge, that AEW’s TV deal will not be renewed. People with somehow even worse hairlines and pizza crust from two weeks ago stuck in their chest hair rejoiced at the misinformation as they realised - deep down -that the next time they’d be remotely happy in life was when AEW ceased to exist - WWE, suddenly aware they had sacked most of their women’s roster, called up Mariah May to main roster duties. On Smackdown. Oh dear. Cue the Toni Storm meme - More stories surfaced about WWE and the use of AI. Which is probably the least surprising news in the history of news. Slop, meet slop 🤝

@Fatal0blivion Keeping Athena on ROH to beat a record for holding a belt that was given to him in a predetermined match, when she should be headlining Dynamite and PPVs is just stupid. AEW fans said as much themselves, until the record got closer.

WWE absolutely gutted the NXT roster. Oba Femi Jevon Evans Trick Williams Ethan Page Sol Ruca Fatal Influence Blake Monroe Joe Hendry Ricky Saints Losing this much talent without any replacements, especially in the men’s division, is going to hurt. With the CW deal around $25 million, you have to wonder if TKO just doesn’t see NXT as a worthwhile investment anymore given how little the return is.
