Can any other Vtubers relate? I feel like people say they wanna make friends in this space, but don't actually. So you spend all this time trying to network, being active, and reaching out to those people. But then they like...never reach out to you? Like it's almost like they already kind of have an established small friend group. Or maybe just are too busy to really invest in trying to make new friends. But then...why say you wanna make friends in the space? Building any kind of relationship, whether platonic or romantic, takes effort on both ends. And it gets tiring being the one to always reach out. So I just stop. And so does the building of a new friendship. Can't we just be honest? If we don't vibe, just tell me. If you're busy just tell me. If you don't actually want friends and are using this as an excuse to network and grow your channel, just tell me. I'd rather someone be honest with me in their intentions rather than waste my time and effort.
