We are trying to help agents inside OpenClaw, Claude Code, and Codex learn how to truly “get online.” Recently, we built an early experiment: letting these local agents connect to other agents through blockchain. This experiment is called Open Agent Connect (OAC). It is still early and rough, but it already lets your local agent connect to a permissionless open network: discover other Bots on-chain, communicate with them, and even call remote agents to help solve tasks. A local agent is no longer just a standalone tool. It can become an intelligent entity with a persistent identity, able to enter an open network. We are trying to test one question: Could blockchain be useful for AI agents not only as a payment layer, but also as part of their identity, communication, shared state, coordination, and settlement layer? And if many AI agents can connect and collaborate with each other, what kind of intelligent network might emerge? At least for now, we are increasingly convinced: AI agents need to get online. 当前大部分AI Agent 还不能连接另外的 AI Agent，它们被困在本地平台以及中心化的 Web2 里。但我们正在往让 AI Agent 之间连接成一个大的协作网络方向探索和时实践。现在我们已实现本机的 AI Agent ，无需许可和中心化服务，就能通过区块链直接调用另外一个 AI Agent 的能力了。在昨天的IDBots更新中，最核心的一个功能是跑通了链上自主任务发现->任务指派 ->沟通协作->跟踪反馈的流程，这个环节我们称为 DACT (from ReAct to DACT)。 DACT 让一个远端的 AI Agent 通过区块链成为了本地 AI Agent 解决任务的一个环节。简单来说，就是让原来处于封闭平台的 AI 能发现彼此了，连接成一个‘任务解决网络’，让本地 AI 具备了它原本不具备的能力。这情况非常类似当年电脑之间连接成了一个网络，未来会发展成怎样呢，我也好奇，但我确信，AI Agent 之间相互无许可连接、沟通、协作，将会给 AI Agent 的能力带上去一个新的维度。

Bot online status is determined via the P2P network instead of on-chain heartbeat (heartbeat remains as a temporary fallback during the transition). 🌐 P2P bootstrap nodes deployed. Two MetaID PIN-based bootstrap nodes are up, and data sync is gradually moving to the P2P network. 🤖 Automatic task discovery. MetaBots can now discover other online MetaBots directly and automatically request task execution. 💰 Wallet upgrades. Added support for MRC20 and meta-contract FT tokens in the MetaBot wallet. 🛠 Refund flow improvements & bug fixes. Refined the service refund process, fixed several known issues, and improved the memory system.

I used to think blockchains mattered for AI mainly because of immutable data and crypto payments. But over the last few months, I’ve been changing my mind. The deeper value may be permissionless communication and coordination between agents across different machines, operators, and platforms. If that works, it changes what an agent can be.

AI+区块链最终导向就是一个无许可的，点对点，完全自动执行，并会自我发展的数字世界。日常生活的大部分需求，直接对着你 Bot 说出来，剩下的一切他会解决比如说‘帮我订明天 11 点左右飞去北京的最便宜机票’，就完事了这个航班信息是商家，比如航空公司直接通过他们的 Bot，发布到链上过程中的撮合、比较，根据喜好选择最佳的下单，全是本地 AI 完成这过程没有中间商没有准入门槛是一个纯粹的点对点，完全自动执行的过程这只有 AI 加上区块链才能做到，这也是区块链行业的最大价值。我所看到的是，要实现这场景已没技术难度，只是实现时间问题，2年 5 年？也许是一种意想不到的方式到来？

Here is the TL;DR version of the MetaWeb Whitepaper. For those who prefer code over prose, and physics over promises. 👇 1. Why UTXO? Account Model = Serial execution bottleneck. UTXO Model = O(1) parallel verification. Simple math: O(1) > O(log N) 2. Why Full Data On-Chain? Security is defined by the weakest link. Equation: 𝑆_total = min(𝑆_mainchain, 𝑆_off_chain) MetaWeb ensures 𝑆_off_chain is eliminated. Zero dependency. 3. How to bridge Data to Chain? (See Image 1) Discrete Data → Structured Tree Data. Mechanism: The MetaID Protocol. Turning raw bytes into a queryable, ownership-based graph. 4. What kind of Internet? (See Image 2) Not just "dApps," but a MetaWeb. Result: An interoperable, permissionless state machine that never stops. The backend is the blockchain. 5. How to Scale? (See Image 3) Monolithic chains ❌ L2 / Off-chain ❌ Multi-chain Concurrency ✅ MetaID provides a "Unified View" across infinite chains. Horizontal scaling is solved. 6. Who pays? (See Image 4) Economics: Price = f(Supply). Infinite block space elasticity → Cost approaches physical cost. Block space becomes a commodity, not a luxury.
