@jpadlovely i don't excuse santos behavior because she's traumatized. She's a little obnoxious, so what. Langdon almost killed one person we know of by diluting medicine. the person is only alive because he caught it. What if someone else used that vial? how many people died cause of him?

we can’t criticize robby because he’s depressed, we can’t criticize santos because she has trauma, but we can’t point out that langdon’s actions in season 1 were tied into his addiction/withdrawal without being called misogynist boy moms …. I think you guys just hate addicts

@DivinestSmite @samcentric one patient, canonically, and the inaccurate dosing was quickly corrected. if the situation had gone unaddressed for much longer, though, there could have been more dire consequences

@samcentric if you're drunk and you kill someone you still kill someone. langdon has been stealing meds for a while. how many people got too small a dose and died or had their condition worsen because of it

still interesting to me that so many pitt watchers act as though "stole drugs" was day 1 of the langdon addiction story, and disregard that it was "devastating injury" > prescribed pain meds and benzos > dependence > addiction > desperation > self-medication > stole drugs

You can think Langdon deserved to be fired & lose his license but you have to admit you have a punitive approach to the issue. Personally I just don’t see how depriving him of means to sustain himself & making the last 10 years of his life worthless is a net positive for society

@clarininjas7 @MeredithLoftus oh I don't think the writers told the actors. in fact I think it was stated that the actors only get the script for each episode before filming it sequentially, so they're all basically in the dark as to what's going to happen from one episode to the next.

1) I would love the opportunity to intv anyone from the cast.
2) Personally, I don’t bring up ship-related questions unless the actor brings it up or the project is romance-specific.

@stepbystep_xx @deathofmeaning @samcentric this is very true but santos can be a butthole to everyone, including her juniors, seniors, and patients - just another facet of her internal struggles and blind spots. and robby is her true superior in terms of hiring/firing, langdon wouldn't have any authority in that regard.

@Lostmyinhaler2 @KnowledgeIsA_ Fortunately the wisdom teeth/gallbladder surgeries really don't include a ton of down time. You can be back on your feet and fairly pain-free (so long as you stay on top of your meds) in less than a week. And winter means plenty of cozy soups to help you recuperate 😙

I was told it was anxiety, it was in fact a broken arm.
MY FUCKIN ARM WAS BROKEN
I was repeatedly told it wasn’t, just bruised and I was just being anxious.
I had to demand an xray.
I then demanded an apology.
