A few hours in Crimson Desert, I've only scratched the surface, but the world is impressive af. I just literally sat 15 minutes on top of a tall building watching the town go to sleep and the sun setting, while vaping weed irl. Best game of the year so far.

@RealMarcFoxx I'm willing to give the term "video game" a wide definition. It's possible to enjoy a well written walking simulator, or a visual novel where you just click and read It's very a very different experience than playing Dark Souls, but I'd still say they are technically games.

@Grummz I think, in fact, gaming as a whole is doing *better* than ever. Gamers today have access to *more* good games at a cheaper price *on average* than 5 or 10 years ago. While the $ amount spent might be lower on some areas, gaming as a whole is 100% alive and will never die.
