🛰️ Through initiatives such as the Methane Alert and Response System (MARS) and the Eye on Methane data platform, @UNEP’s IMEO works to make #MethaneEmissions more visible and actionable.

💡 As methane monitoring technologies rapidly expand — from satellites to ground-based measurements — public understanding and engagement are becoming increasingly important to accelerate action to #CutMethane.

Methane emissions are invisible to the naked eye — but their impact on the climate is not. The CH4rt Competition, part of the #TimeForCH4nge campaign, invites young people across Europe to use creativity and visual storytelling to bring methane into public view.
