@carolinegleich I agree that the world need more female leaders and role models (and thank all advocates of that message) ... AND regardless of gender the world needs more feminine energy.

@carolinegleich I believe gender equality is a proxy for the fundamental issue — a society that overvalues masculine traits (like competitiveness, aggression, dominance, certainty and brute strength) over feminine traits (like compassion, empathy and cooperation).

Being an outspoken advocate for gender equality online in outdoor sports isn’t popular. I lose many followers everyday who only want to follow me because of my image. They don’t want to hear what I have to say because they are uncomfortable about disrupting the status quo.
