Stressful start to the day. Woke up to Santander asking me if I recognised some recent transactions on my card I said no so my card has been blocked and I’m getting a new one sent to me and a new PIN number. First time this happened was after my dad passed away 😡

Well… would you absolutely Adam an Eve it! Just as I get over a horrible 3 week long lurgy (no my nose didn’t fall off!) I end up in hospital with Influenza A, heading into an adrenal crisis and a temp of 41. ..Oh, and did I mention it’s ma birthday? Wooop 51 here I come! Sliding my way in with a huge dose of Tamiflu, and regular paracetamol…. what a day 🤦‍♀️ #AddisonsDisease

If someone lived in your body for half a day, they’d stop asking why you’re tired. They’d stop questioning your pain. They’d stop assuming you’re “doing too little.” People make a lot of assumptions on appearance. Hypermobility means your body relies more on muscular effort and nervous system input to create stability. That translates into constant, low-level work, often without rest. • muscles working overtime • joints that need continuous monitoring • background pain that never fully disappears • fatigue that isn’t proportional to activity • a nervous system that rarely gets to stand down None of this is visible. But all of it is very real. If this resonates, you’re not alone. What would someone say if they spent half a day in your body?

@deirdrenugent4 When my mother was terminally ill I asked people not to visit without asking me first. My mother was not aware she had a brain tumour. The number of people who visited and told her and that was dying was unbelievable. Each time I had to deal with her distress afterwards.

Please note. If a family member tells you that their loved one isn't up to visitors, then don't visit. You're not doing anyone any favours by doing this. You are most likely going to be causing distress or be in the way. Christ, I wish people would use their cop on.

Very difficult day with my son yesterday. He flipped out in a cafe, threw a load of heavy metal stools around the place, broke a plate, threw chocolate all over a couple of women and, as the coup de grace, scalded my leg with boiling hot coffee. Results below 🤢 #autismawareness
