Awesome to present at the physiotherapy NZ paediatric special interest group study day in Hamilton today on issues with paediatric musculoskeletal care. Also, loving to hear from many other colleagues and their areas of work and research. #learningtogether #PNZ #paediatrics

So how good was your paediatric MSK pathology knowledge in the foot? Well done to those who spotted my deliberate mistake of placing arrows towards the cuneiform instead of the navicular. 🤣🤣 All intentional to check who was awake of course!!!!

Thanks @noigroup for the opportunity to share a few words about my passion. I’m looking forward to the release of some fabulous Pain Education children’s books by the brilliant @JoshuaWPate very soon!

Rebecca Fechner’s PhD explores concepts of chronic pain in children within the teacher/student relationship – would pain science education in class help? Link here: noigroup.com/noijam/teacher… @FechnerRebecca @JoshuaWPate

As a child develops, so does their meaning of pain. 🫄🏽👶🏼👧🏽👦🏻🧒🏼 What does pain mean to a child? My first ever book chapter is now out! (Alongside brilliant chapters about what pain means in vulnerable/special people groups - go @simonvanrysewyk + team!) link.springer.com/book/10.1007/9…
