Brigham: Day 19. Found out yesterday we won’t be going home anytime soon. After 19 days flat on her back, and two surgeries, my wife will need rehab. Deconditioning happens quickly. We’re hoping she can get a room on the oncology floor at Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge. We’ve been there several times and the acute care and physical therapy is unmatched. We should have a decision early next week. It all depends on insurance, sadly. I know in my heart of hearts, she needs rehab and has to be in a top notch facility that will keep her safe and build up her strength. But after taking good care of her for close to 7 months, I was hoping she could’ve come directly home. Coming home to an empty house at night destroys me, I go down so many rabbit holes, but I know staying in a rehab facility is what’s best for her. I’ll have to be strong. I still haven’t gone home…

What’s next? We just bought an embroidery machine. Orders have been placed for Junior bags and club sets for 5-8 year olds. The Masters in April (hoping we can see our bags back at Augusta this year🤞) Some awesome collabs are in the works.
