@ogbame_justus At some point it’s not about feeling good but about not feeling like dying. Alcohol has apparently some of the worst withdrawal symptoms. I’m a pot head and it’s tough me to take breaks from daily smoking (at least for a week or so), so I can’t even imagine how crack heads feel

Funny question, I have my own addiction but I need to know this, how difficult is it to not take crack or cocaine. I'm pretty sure the feeling will be terrible just like drinking, also for drunks, how tF does being drunk feel good, I have gotten drunk a few times and every single time I felt like that shit could kill me, how tF do you do it daily

When I was 25 me and a chef friend went on a working holiday visa to Tokyo. I had 800€ in my pocket and didn’t speak any Japanese On our second day in Japan we looked up telephone numbers of western restaurants in Tokyo and called them from a pay phone in the January rain “Hello I’m a chef from Germany and I am looking for a job” Most hung up. Some invited us but didn’t give us a job But staying resilient, both of us found a job within a week. I was pouring beer in a German beer bar in roppongi and my mate was working in a small French restaurant Continuing the cold calling, both of us ended up in a Michelin starred restaurant in a luxury hotel in shiodome It changed my life and how I approach things forever for the better The power of just doing things
