@juvenewslive He’d be an exceptional signing, him or Hjulmand would be ideal for our midfield.

Spalletti is said to have identified Ederson as the ideal signing for the midfield. His contract runs until 2027, and while Atlético Madrid have been pursuing him for some time, the situation remains open in Bergamo. Atalanta are demanding €40 million for the player and are known to be tough negotiators. #Juventus [@tuttosport]

@khaledalnouss1 He was always going to need a full season off the back of the ACL injury. I fully expect to see him closer to his best next season. That’s not to say if a top offer comes in for this summer, he shouldn’t be sacrificed.

I like Bremer’s fighting spirit, but he made too many mistakes today & not just on that foul.

@juvenewslive Absolutely yes, but he also needs the right people around him. I’d be happy to see him with the likes of Baggio & Maldini given some leadership roles within the FIGC. For the good of Italian football, this would be a smart path forward.

@juvenewslive Absolutely in a heartbeat. But it won’t happen. Calafiori won’t leave Arsenal. Our central defence is a mess, Bremer hasn’t been the same post the ACL injury, Gatti isn’t good enough & neither is Kelly. Ideally Gatti & Kelly are sold this summer to fund 2 new CB’s additions.

@Fenofelino1897 To a large degree he absolutely is, but that also doesn’t absolve the political establishment that have also had a hand in the demise of Italian football. How many times have we seen clubs trying to build new stadiums & not been allowed to.

🎙️ | 🤡 Ceferin defends Gravina: “Italy’s elimination at the hands of Bosnia is absolutely not Gravina’s responsibility. Perhaps Italian politicians should ask themselves why Italy has some of the worst football infrastructures in Europe. Gabriele is my vice president and he’s very important to me. But the biggest loss would be for the FIGC. It’s not easy to find a gentleman who loves football and Italy so much.” 😂😂😂

@juvenewslive If the management have any brains he will be brought back this summer. He’s a talented young left footed CB & we are in dire need of rebuilding our defence. Ideally he’d be one of two CB’s brought in this summer.

Juventus still retain 50% of any future resale of Muharemović. The Bosnian’s progress has been remarkable, and the club has yet to decide whether to use that 50% to outbid competitors or to cash in. However, the latter option is gaining traction, bolstered by positive signals from the international scene as well. #Juventus [@LaStampa]

@intherain100 Or do what Real Madrid have done in multiple deals & add a buyback clause into the deal. For the life of me I can never understand why Juve don’t do this.

@juvenewslive Good to have the 50% clause. But when we send talents out for their first proper season as starters at smaller clubs, the deals should be really be as straight loans. We've lost a lot of money by not retaining control on Dragusin, Romero and now 50% of Muharemovics worth.

@mfava83 We need to go back to having an Italian core, we need to have some young talents in there, we don;t need to overspend on players who are 33 years plus, coming for one last pay day. the whole strategy needs a rethink at this point.

Except for Kalulu, it will be a revolution: João Mário, Holm, Kostić, and Cabal are all out. New enquiries have been made for Raphaël Guerreiro, while Celik and Norton-Cuffy remain options: the Englishman is still Ottolini’s top target, but it would take at least €15 million to sign him. #Juventus [@tuttosport]

🎙️ | Del Piero: “Italy is now the laughing stock of international football. Missing three World Cups in a row is genuinely unforgivable. How can a nation like this miss out on a whole generation of World Cups? Four-time winners haven’t scored a World Cup goal in 20 years. We used to have world-class players, but today the players are very average.”

@juvenewslive Italian football is a disaster. Same old issues, no real opportunities for the youth, out of date tactics, an over reliance on players past their best. To miss 3 world cups in a row is shameful. Everyone at the FIGC needs to be sacked.

I can’t believe Italy have failed to qualify for the World Cup. Not the first time. Not the second. But the third time in a row. Enough talking about taking action and making change. Heads have to roll. This is an absolute farce.

@juvenewslive I think as an experienced leader in the squad & as a rotational striker on a one year contract, I’d be all for it. But it’s clear that Lewa would likely want a 2/3 year deal & he’d want a massive salary. So I think it’s probably not the right move for the club.

@fabio_alla_fine As am I. I’d have loved to have see him stay. I just think we tend to jettison our youngsters too quickly, whether that be to score a quick profit financially or because we don’t really give them a proper chance. I do agree Miretti needs to show more.

@fabio_alla_fine He needs to show more I agree, but I think their’s a player in there, he just needs time & games. We’ve jettisoned so many youngsters in these past few years, Soule, Fagioli, Kean, Huijsen, who all are as good or better than a lot of the rubbish in our current squad.

@guerriero_23 @juvenewslive Agreed I’m no fan of the algorithm method but Restes is a top young talent with a big future ahead. In my opinion we need to start building a long term project, I don’t want these 32/33 year old + players who are already in decline coming in on expensive long contracts.

@juvenewslive He needs to be jettisoned out of the club asap, hasn’t played in practically two years. Absolute disaster of a signing & hopefully will be gone this summer.
