The hardest moments I went through were not the two massacres I miraculously survived during the war on Gaza,
but that scene which will never leave my memory
That child who was playing with the other children outside the camp, laughing innocently, unaware that his entire world had collapsed in a single moment.
Then the news reached him the martyrdom of his mother, his father, and his entire family all at once
Everything around him seemed to stop.
He fell to his knees, as if the ground could no longer hold him,
and broke down crying not the cry of a child, but the cry of a heart shattered before it even understood life
In a trembling, broken voice filled with shock and pain, he kept saying:
Where is my mother? Who will take me to her? I want to go to them
In that moment, there were no words to be said,
because some pain is too great to be comforted,
and some loss is too heavy even for the heart of a child

There is a bitter irony in Western media invoking "Gaza-scale destruction" when for two years it denied that Gaza was being deliberately destroyed.

@muslim_1065 @abdhte I believe it’s been manipulated by AI and reuploaded to make it seem like it’s the same one. Not negating his level of evil which is evident, but good to be skeptical about these videos in the age of AI

Scenes from Tehran look apocalyptic. This is a city of 10 million people.

These are not sewers. They are water channels called joob, designed to irrigate trees – a tradition rooted in Iran’s ancient water-management and cooling systems.
This is what happens when stupidity and cultural ignorance are militarised against an ancient civilisation.
