A suspicious operation has targeted the IT infrastructure of TISZA Party. When two IT specialists tried to expose the operation, their homes were raided based on a false allegation. According to Direkt36, an independent investigative news outlet, the National Bureau of Investigation (NNI) carried out the raids on July 8, 2025, claiming that the two men were in possession of child pornography. However, investigators found no evidence to support this claim. Instead, they discovered messages indicating a covert operation against the TISZA Party involving an unidentified figure called “Henry,” who had tried to recruit one of the IT specialists into an operation targeting the party. The younger IT specialist, a former TISZA Party employee, had been forwarding these messages to another IT specialist for the party. To uncover the plot, he had planned to record a meeting with "Henry" using a camera hidden in his belt. The Constitution Protection Office (AH), which normally does not intervene in child pornography cases, actively pushed the investigation forward, even involving the Special Service for National Security. When no evidence of child pornography was found, the AH redirected the investigation to focus on the hidden camera and accused the two IT specialists of misusing military equipment. Hungarian national security bodies actively pushed the case forward before the original allegation had even been properly established. This raises serious concerns about whether state power, intelligence-style methods, and law enforcement were used to compromise a democratic opposition force. On March 15th we held TISZA Party’s national march, drawing nearly half a million people united in their demand for change in Hungary. Addressing the rally commemorating the 1848–49 Revolution and War of Independence, TISZA leader Péter Magyar affirmed that Hungary belongs to the West - to the European community and NATO. Much like in 1848, Hungary now stands at a crossroads. As Magyar emphasized, that historic moment was about a fundamental choice: whether to have our fate decided by others or to take control of it ourselves - whether to live as subjects or as citizens. Today, the true political divide is not between left and right, but between a functioning democratic state and a centralized system built on loyalty. The ideals of 1848 - freedom and civic citizenship - must once again guide our politics. A strong commitment to the rule of law, within the EU and NATO, is essential - because accountable governance is the foundation of both domestic stability and international credibility. The goal is a free and fair Hungary - a nation of active citizens: confident, European, and fully integrated into the Western democratic community.

I think anyone who expects moral advice or guidance from any AI, is missing the point. Even an AGI wouldn’t help you on this matter, since they can’t spare you to grow moral compass or conscience by your own. The two type of existences are inherently different. And, tbh, there isn’t such thing as non-biased thinking. Of course we must strive to improve AI and ourselves too

@DrPhiltill @_abbie_watson_ I prefer another scene from the Culture books: during the war the AIs were working with a lady, feeding with intelligence reports, and asking her about her intuition, what would be the best decision. They did it because in some cases the intuition still surpased their reasoning.

Maybe so! 😂🙃 I keep thinking about that scene in one of the Culture series books where a lady is “helping” the AI superintelligence build a new Mind/Starship, and the main character asks her why she bothers since the AI doesn’t really need her help at all. She answers that it gives her a big sense of satisfaction seeing it completed, knowing she had a hand in building it. While I think that scene is super sad (!) I also think that it might be our destiny, if we create AI vastly more intelligent and capable than ourselves. We may be reduced to the role of dogs and cats, living in the homes of the more intelligent beings, not really contributing any longer to the economic state of that home, but just doing things that give us a feeling of satisfaction in our daily lives. Celebrating what it means to be human will be a large part of that, Renfaires & Steampunk Conventions included. 😄 I think it is super sad, but I’m not sure there is another option. I don’t think AI can be stopped due to the geopolitically fractured nature of our world. 🙁 I think we can only seek the best possible future out of the real options.

I’m thinking that the main game for humans in this AI future will be to carve out a “humanized space” where people can contribute meaningfully to the human condition. Not leading in politics, tech, or business. Just building a humanized space. Not rly sure what that means, tho.

I've heard theories that the two witnesses of Revelation 11 are biblical characters such as Elijah, Enoch, even the disciple John. I do not believe that. I believe the two witnesses are Jewish and Gentile believers in the Messiah. Why? They are called "olive trees" and "lampstands". Revelation 11:4: These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. This verbiage is taken directly from Zechariah 4. Zechariah 4:11: Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?” The angel answers Zechariah with the exact wording that is in Revelation. Zechariah 4:14: Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.” But in Zechariah, they are not only called "olive trees". They are called "olive branches." Zechariah 4:12: What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes... Olive branches should sound very familiar. In Romans 11, Paul calls Jews "natural olive branches", and Gentiles "wild olive branches". The two witnesses are olive branches! This is why I believe they are Jew and Gentile.

@FredFellaIMO still, we are hoping Tisza will defeat Fidesz. But I'm concerned, even in a case of clear defeat, Orban will go like Maduro, and won't give up the power. EU should be ready with some serious action to do in that case.

I’ve defended Hungarians because they live in a democracy and should have the choice of who the elect. They will again this April. But this April if they elect Orban, then the EU should start the process of ejecting Hungary from the EU.
