Health and safety at work is about securing the health, safety and welfare of people by reducing risks and protecting them and others from harm or illness arising out of work activities by taking the right precautions. Does your company get safety and health basics right?

Personal protective equipment protects only the person wearing it, whereas measures controlling the risk at source can protect everyone in the workplace. This means that PPE should be a last resort. Is it treated as such in your workplace?
