Hmmmm… Life is truly an Enigma. The day after graduation, as I scrolled through my course mates’ posts from LAUTECH, one thought kept ringing in my mind:
Every man and every woman has a story to tell.
Mine began in the hood.I’m the last born of seven children.
The setbacks, the struggles, and the humble start are all part of the story. Keep pushing. Stay consistent. Honour your parents. And never underestimate the power of prayer and determination. What’s one lesson life has taught you on your own journey? Share in the comments
Thank you for believing in me when the odds were heavily stacked against us. God bless you more and more, ma. This achievement is dedicated to you.A word to every young person from a difficult background reading this:Your beginning does not define your end.
This journey is a testimony of resilience, a mother’s unbreakable sacrifice, and God’s faithfulness. From repeating a class in primary school to becoming the best in a highly demanding department — the boy from the hood made it through. To my ever-caring mother:

I actually repeated Primary 2 — while most of my mates moved to Primary 3. Many might have felt discouraged, but my mother’s words kept me strong. That setback didn’t break me. By Primary 6, I had risen to become the Health Prefect. In Junior Secondary School,
There were many painful moments and struggles we faced on the road of life — things we still can’t talk about openly. Yet she never gave up on us.I started my education at Olufi Memorial Primary School, Gbongan, Osun State (2005–2012).
I lost my father when I was just 6 years old. I was too young to even fully recognize him. From that tender age, my mother became both father and mother to all of us. She carried the heavy responsibilities alone.
While many say being the last child is all enjoyment, that was never my reality. With six older siblings ahead of me, life often felt like I had to consult a committee before making any move. But through every challenge, I thank God for the greatest gift in my life — my mother.
