It took me ages to find this, but @CreativeScots was previously forced to put long-term funding decisions off for a whole year because it could not get the @scotgov to agree a budget - even though 3-year culture funding was a clear manifesto commitment. creativescotland.com/news-stories/l…

The system is letting disabled people down. But it doesn’t have to be this way. There are a million disabled people who can and want to work in the UK. Reducing Access to Work wait times, and removing other barriers to employment, would make an enormous difference.

Horrible reading that Glasgow’s CCA & Musselburgh’s Brunton Theatre are at risk of closure. Circumstances are dire. Can @scotgov work with @GlasgowCC @ELCouncil @COSLA & @CreativeScots to prevent mass closures of arts organisations before it’s too late?

I can honestly say no artist has ever had their work censored @battersea_arts for taking a political stance And our board is just brilliant in always taking the heat & backing work that is often very provocative But I do think AD roles help set the tone for protecting artists
